What We Do
UNIversity Research And Technology Service (UNIRATS) is an information/data aggregator focused exclusively on academic medicine. We provide a searchable directory of Academic, Clinical and Research Units at accredited allopathic medical schools in the United States and Canada—the first and only compendium of its kind. We also research and produce custom data products comprising institutional, unit and/or personnel data.
How We Do It
UNIRATS has devoted more than 20,000+ hours of research and development time to ceaseless search, identification, recording and vetting of all institutional/unit URLs and nomenclature. To provide ultimate accuracy, relevance and comprehensiveness, all directory records are visited, scrutinized and updated daily, and edits/updates are made within one hour of discovery of changes to either URLs or textual reference.
UNIRATS does not scrape or otherwise auto-extract any URLs or data elements from other individuals, entities or websites. Our directory and custom data products are developed entirely from repeated visitation and observation of every institution’s website and their respective directories and units that exist in the public domain.

Jack Detweiler, Founder & CEO. Jack brings more than 45 years of professional experience in medical device sales, marketing and executive management.
